0133. A Loving Family
Jinwoo and Daeho were already familiar with the clear, ringing voice that belonged to Shin Seulgi.
-Sinbi’s younger sister-
Jinwoo was already stewing over the fact that Seulgi might have discovered his family secrets, and now he feared that Seulgi had even caught him watching a sex video with Aunt Gyuri.
Jinwoo froze, unable to respond, his body rigid.
Daeho seemed pretty shocked too, standing still without showing any movement.
“What’s this~? You two secretly watching porn on the rooftop? I should tell your homeroom teacher~!”
Seulgi teased Jinwoo and Daeho with her unabashed attitude.
In a moment, Daeho swiftly bent down to pick up his smartphone.
Hiding the screen and simultaneously lowering the volume, the sound of Aunt Gyuri’s moans from the smartphone began to fade away.
“Ah~ You scared me~ You know, Seulgi? This bastard Jinwoo couldn’t wait till school was over! Jinwoo will buy you a drink later, so don’t snitch to the teacher~”
Daeho slickly made up an excuse to Seulgi, pretending the video they were watching was just ordinary porn.
“Ah… Yeah… Daeho said he got some rare footage, so yeah, ha… ha….”
Jinwoo awkwardly tried to back up Daeho’s story.
“All you guys do all day is this stuff? I just don’t understand what goes through boys’ minds~ But since you’re buying, I’ll gladly take that drink, Jinwoo~”
Seulgi joked about the situation, seemingly used to such things.
Luckily, Seulgi seemed not to notice that the people in the video were Daeho’s mom, Aunt Gyuri, and Jinwoo.
Seulgi, who often exchanged perverted jokes and banter with Daeho, didn’t seem too bothered by catching them watching porn.
“But what’s up? Why did you come looking for us? How did you even know we were here?”
Daeho casually passed the smartphone to Jinwoo, asking Seulgi as if nothing was wrong.
“Ah~ Where else would you guys be if not at the snack bar or here? I came to borrow some money from Jinwoo! Can you lend me some? I forgot my wallet at home, and we’re going out after school.”
Seulgi answered Daeho’s question straightforwardly and then singled out Jinwoo to ask for a loan.
Jinwoo felt a twinge of worry.
Was this the start of Seulgi blackmailing him using the secrets of his family?
“How much?”
Jinwoo asked carefully, trying to appear nonchalant about how much money Seulgi might take from him.
“Maybe 20,000 won? That should be enough, right?”
Seulgi suggested the amount as if haggling.
20,000 won was not a small amount to ask for a loan among friends.
“I don’t have cash right now. Don’t any of the friends you’re going with have some money to lend?”
Jinwoo tried to resist as smoothly as possible, despite his unease.
“Would I have come looking for you all the way up here if there was? You got your mom’s card, right? You can withdraw money with it, can’t you?”
Seulgi blocked Jinwoo’s attempt to resist, clearly knowing more about his circumstances.
“How… how do you know about that?”
Jinwoo stuttered, taken aback.
“Your mom told you she’s staying temporarily at Aunt Haeju’s House for work and left her card with you, didn’t she?”
Seulgi seemed to know more about Jinwoo’s family situation than he thought.
“Uh… that… that’s true, but I can’t just use it freely…”
Jinwoo mumbled his reply, trailing off.
“20,000 won should be doable, right? So are you going to lend it or not~?”
Seulgi’s voice mixed coquetry with a hint of intimidation.
“I’ll… lend it to you… but that’s really stretching it for me…”
Jinwoo tried to push back feebly, knowing it was futile.
“Then go to the snack bar now and withdraw 20,000 won! There’s an ATM there.”
Seulgi pressed Jinwoo for the money without waiting for an answer.
“Uh? Uh…”
Jinwoo reluctantly responded.
Jinwoo looked at Daeho with a plea for help in his eyes.
Daeho just smiled as if he found the situation amusing.
“Or do you guys want to come with us after school? Then you won’t need to get money separately.”
Seulgi, seeing Jinwoo’s distressed face, offered a new solution.
“Ah~ Jinwoo and I have other plans after school today… If it’s hanging out, let’s do it another time.”
Daeho refused Seulgi’s offer midway through, seemingly with his own agenda.
“That so? Well, can’t help it… I’ll go to the snack bar first then, come down soon, okay?”
Seulgi glanced downward at Jinwoo before turning to rush towards the rooftop exit.
Jinwoo had been too shocked to cover up, and his member had been half-erect since they started watching the video with Aunt Gyuri.
Embarrassed, Jinwoo quickly covered himself and blushed.
“Seulgi’s kinda fun, isn’t she? Knowing all that and still acting this way isn’t easy…”
Daeho, with a face full of laughter, commented.
“Shit! It seems like she saw everything? I was too shocked to cover up… I hope it doesn’t start any weird rumors among the school girls.”
Jinwoo spoke to Daeho with a bitter smile.
Jinwoo hastily pressed his growing member to the side to manage the situation.
“The video? Or your thing? Seulgi isn’t the type to spread rumors. And if the rumor does get out, it might actually make you more popular with the girls, so maybe you should ask her to spread it! Hahaha!”
Daeho burst out laughing, teasing Jinwoo.
“What are you talking about?! It’s all your fault. Let’s talk after school. Why did you even bring this up during break?!”
Jinwoo snapped at Daeho a bit irritably.

“Did you know Seulgi and I share the same birthday?”
Daeho asked Jinwoo out of the blue as they walked down the stairs.
“What?”
Jinwoo reacted without thinking.
“Your birthday~! You went to karaoke with Seulgi and her friends last year, remember~!”
Daeho spoke as if holding a grudge against Jinwoo.
“Oh, did we?”
Jinwoo vaguely remembered.
“But isn’t it kind of a coincidence?”
Daeho made a cryptic comment.
“Hey, you crazy! How is it strange that people in the same class or even the same grade share a birthday?!”
Jinwoo, releasing some pent-up frustration and tension, raised his voice in annoyance.
“That so? Hahaha.”
Daeho laughed it off, seemingly indifferent.
“It’s kind of suspicious, though? You’ve been secretly following Seulgi around lately… You even asked me before if I was interested in Seulgi, didn’t you? If you’re really interested, why don’t you hang out with her after school? I’ll go with you.”
Jinwoo tried to appeal to Daeho with a mixture of sympathy and frustration.
“Ah~ I will go. But if you’re going to help, why don’t you go to my house instead after school?”
Daeho suggested something incomprehensible.
“Your house again?”
Jinwoo asked, puzzled.
At the thought of seeing Aunt Gyuri again, Jinwoo’s heart began to race.
“Yeah. I’ll be busy, so can you go check on my mom and maybe loosen her up a bit? You still have the key, right?”
Daeho asked as if he hadn’t heard what Jinwoo had done with the key to Aunt Gyuri.
Thinking about it, even though he had handed over the key, leaving Aunt Gyuri unconscious for a long time without checking seemed wrong.
“Key?… Uh… I had it… So should I go back to your place?”
Jinwoo hesitated, deliberately vague about the whereabouts of the key, intending to follow Daeho’s words.
“Mom’s been tied up for so long, her body must be really stiff. Maybe give her a massage or something…”
Daeho mentioned it casually, but his words seemed loaded.
“Uh?… Uh…”
Jinwoo stiffened his expression once more and responded.
“Chickening out now! Who’s going to catch you? You’ve done everything secretly with mom, what’s the big deal now?”
Daeho continued, enjoying Jinwoo’s flustered reaction.
“Since it came up, shall I tell you something else that’s interesting?”
Daeho spoke mischievously, with a sly smile.
“Interesting? What is it?”
Jinwoo tensed up again, reacting.
“…The contract?”
“The contract?”
“Yeah… Since a contract is basically a mutual agreement, there should be two copies, right? That’s common sense, isn’t it?”
Daeho talked to himself as he walked ahead, not even looking back at Jinwoo.
“Out of nowhere, what are you talking about?”
Jinwoo thought of Aunt Gyuri’s slave contract but couldn’t understand why Daeho was bringing it up now.
“No matter how much I searched, I couldn’t find the slave’s contract at home… Mom’s owner’s contract showed up as if it was meant to be found in Dad’s briefcase, though.”
Daeho spoke with an inscrutable smile, hinting at hidden thoughts.
“I’ll go to the classroom first, then. Finish talking with Seulgi and come!”
At the crossroads to the classroom and the snack bar, Daeho headed to the classroom first.
Jinwoo mulled over Daeho’s words as he made his way to the snack bar.
